Starting out when he was 18, Johnny Blue has been spinning at clubs throughout LA, as well as the Midwest. While living in LA, Johnny Blue played at venues such as, Bilboard Live, Gem Club and The Palace (Now Avalon). Johnny Blue continued to follow his passion after moving to the Midwest. With his ability to fuse different genres of music into well-blended sets, it gained him high notoriety as one of Milwaukee’s most respected DJ’s. As a result of his success, Johnny Blue was voted Best Club DJ in the Shepherd Express, Milwaukee’s nightlife source. His mixes (under the alias of Johnny Blissco) have been featured on Sirius Satellite’s Groove Radio International show with Sweedish Egil on 4.9.05 and 1.7.06 (‘Would You Move It’ Vol 1 & Vol 2). He was also featured guest on Proton Radio’s ‘Mark Lewis Presents’ show on 6.5.07. Johnny Blue has opened up for acts such as Keoki, Max Graham, Mark Lewis, Deep Dish, John Aquaviva, Dave Aude, Eric Morillo and many more. Johnny was featured dj in the Fall ’07 issue of Info magazine. After a break in the action, Johnny Blue is back in the studio creating new music. Check out his new mix series, ‘Structures’, which consists of a deep tech/minimal feel, while bringing back the tribal and progressive sound Johnny is known for.
